Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver effective math lessons that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning needs.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and fosters a love for mathematics.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technologies to enhance student understanding of mathematical concepts.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
• Integrate real-world applications and problem-solving activities into math lessons to make learning meaningful and relevant.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units and projects that incorporate math concepts.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in math education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field.
• Teaching certification/license in Math or Secondary Education.
• Experience teaching math at the middle school or high school level preferred.
• Strong knowledge of math content and pedagogy.
• Proficiency in using technology tools and resources to enhance math instruction.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
